Some books catch your eye and just have to go home with you without obvious reason or need. Seeing this in a bookstore in Lisbon and having no knowledge of Portuguese, I was confused, intrigued, and with a cost of only 16 euros, more than willing to buy. Technically I bought it as a gift for a friend, though I’m not sure what made me connect this particular friend to this particular book. Regardless, it never made it to the friend and has remained an amusing keepsake from my honeymoon 4 years ago.
